The Loch Ness Inn is in one of the most beautiful parts of the world, in the heart of the vibrant Scottish Highlands. Our guiding principles are centred around offering an excellent guest experience whilst protecting the beautiful environment in which we live.
We are actively working on becoming a more sustainable business. We've got a good foundation but know we can do better.
From working with the local community and sourcing from suppliers who align with our vision to promoting sustainable practices.
We mainly employ locally, with many of the older students from the High School staying with us through to the end of the University courses. Certified staff training can be provided from an external company for any of the team wishing to progress in the hospitality industry.
Working closely with other hospitality outlets & businesses in the surrounding area to give our guests the best experience when visiting the area.
For food and drink, this means sourcing locally where possible, promoting ingredients that are in season and liaising with our suppliers to reduce wastage and take advantage of seasonal fluctuations in availability.
Our EV charging stations are in the process of being finalised and we hope to open these for guest use at the end of September 2024.
Traditional music nights are year-round in the bar area, this space is also used for local groups for knitting, meetings or just getting together.
We'll keep this page updated as we continue to develop and work on our sustainability.
