If you wish to try some Scottish whiskies while you are here, the Highlands are home to no fewer than 47 distilleries.
Some of which offer guided tours and tastings and are right on our doorstep.
A few to mention are...
Tomatin Distillery
Tomatin distillery have a great range of award-winning whiskeys, a favourite of ours being the Tomatin 14 year. They also offer a vast range of different tours and even allow a “bottle your own” experience as a little extra memento from your visit.
The visitor centre is definitely worth visiting and taking a look around the gift shop. Opening hours vary throughout the year, we would therefore advise booking a tour before arriving at the distillery.
