Our highly skilled team of young chefs create exciting and innovative dishes using the finest local ingredients. The menus change throughout the year to complement the seasons and daily special dishes feature the best and freshest local produce.
Most of our fish comes from Mallaig, on the West Coast, whilst our famous whole prawns are delivered fresh from Applecross Bay. The provenance of our meat is equally impressive, coming from local hill farms and estates, and is fully matured before it reaches us.
The provenance of our produce is very important:-
- Beef and lamb from the Black Isle
- Venison from Invergarry
- Game from Pitlochry
- Pork direct from Invercannich Farm – just a few miles away
A member of our kitchen team is dedicated to creating the most tempting puddings, and those who prefer a savoury end to their meal can sample our delicious array of Scottish cheeses, served at just the perfect temperature.
Whatever your choice, you will not be disappointed…
Enjoy our fine selection of Scottish Whiskies and award-winning Real Ales from our local Loch Ness Brewery; sample our unique Scottish gins or quench your thirst with a glass of hand-pulled cider.
Whatever your choice of drink, relax in our cosy bar which is a meeting place for both locals and visitors. Exchange tales of sore feet, “the one that got away” or the possibility of a larger than average “catch” on Loch Ness!
