You will find this an ideal base to tour the Western Highlands with Fort Augustus and its famous Abbey (20 miles) and Fort William , the Outdoor Capital of the UK and Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in Britain, just 40 miles to the south.

Fifteen miles to the north driving along the lochside is the City of Inverness, the capital of the Highlands with its well known attractions including Inverness Castle and Eden Court Theatre.
